The Reconciliation
I sometimes see how people make God out to be anything other than a loving Father. Which couldn't be anything but a lie, and if you seem to think this way then I want to on your behalf pray that you seek understanding & and ask the Father for wisdom. I find myself in awe when I realize the dynamic God has with us, He truly is a good Father. I think about stories of children being disobedient to their parents, and what would usually happen? They'd probably get kicked out the house if they kept up with their folly for too long. "My house, my rules"
In this I want to contrast it to God, the Creator of all things, giving us simple rules to obey, yet because we are inherently against God's way's due to the disobedience of our first father Adam. Now I feel like God showcases his mercy so much alone in Gensis, because if you think about it. If God was anything like us he could've just done away with us, since it's His world, His rules, due to our disobedience which allowed sin to enter into the world. Instead of that though, God had a plan to reconcile man back to Himself through his Son Jesus.
So not only is God fair in all his ways in the sense that anybody can come to Him because the finished works that Jesus has done for us, you have to understand how much mercy is being shown to us. We're essentially living in God our Fathers house and have been disobedient to him, yet he doesn't punish us for that and kicks us out, He welcomes us and wraps us in His loving arms and welcomes us back into a loving relationship with him.
The Truth is that the Bible is the Truth. It reveals God's nature and tells us how to live lives pleasing to God, everyone falls short of God's glory, but now through the atonement of our sins through Jesus Christ, we are now able to be wrapped in the righteousness of His Son Jesus, and be made right with God again. Before I came to the knowledge of God's grace and love, I used to look at the Bible and it's statues as restrictions, but as I grow in His ways, it also shows me that His ways are truly good for us to have pure and loving relationships.
I want to wrap this up by saying God is good, God is love, and God is just. He doesn't force anyone to listen to him or obey him, but you have to ask yourself why wouldn't you? Usually we get too wrapped up in sins which cause strongholds to form and think that we're too far gone, but nothing is too impossible for God. Nobody is too far gone to be washed clean by Him. He's so near and want's a personal relationship with every single human, but it's up to us to draw near to him as well.
So the offers on the table for each and everyone, the free gift of eternal life with the God of all creation. (Heaven)
There's nothing we did to deserve it, but God's love is so unconditional that he offered his One and only Son to make a way for us anyways.
You can choose to accept it, and experience the wonderful love and grace of God, or refuse it and be separated from him for eternity after death (Hell)
If you're still breathing, it's never too late to pick up your Cross and start living for God. Peace and grace to you my beloved reader.
